| To everything, there is a season – and this one is SPRING! As your kids defrost from the long winter, treat them to a passport that explains the science behind it. Maria Interlandi, (Science in your kitchen, ASL, BUGS!!) inspires the "budding" scientist in each of your students with fun experiments they can try in the classroom or at home. Learn about daylight saving time, pollination, and plants in spring. This passport will help your class spring into Spring. |

In passports on the Seasons, students will:
- understand the difference between rotation and revolution of the earth.
- understand the role of revolution in seasonal change, as well as rotation in creation of day and night.
- become familiar with the physical bases that determine the length of day, length of year, and the differences in seasonal conditions in the northern and southern hemisphere.
